Our New Freemason
Our October meeting was especially pleasurable as we had the very happy circumstance of a new mason being made!
We have many different types of meetings here at Derwent Lodge. The October meeting, held on Monday 12th October was an especially pleasant one. A local Hastings man was initiated into the Fraternity in a very sincere and ancient ceremony that dates back to the late 1600's.

This is the start of a journey for a newly initiated man which includes learning about the history and rituals of Freemasonry, making new friends and visiting other Masonic meetings both locally, in the UK and if invited anywhere else in the world!
Freemasonry is open to any man over the age of 21. If you know a Freemason, speak to him. However if you don't then please contact us as we will be more than happy to talk to you!
